MP MICHAEL CONNARTY SUPPORTS POSITIVE CHANGE FOR ANIMALS
Linlithgow and East Falkirk MP Michael Connarty, has thrown his support behind the “Vote Cruelty Free” Coalition of Animal Protection Charities announced recently.
The Members of this Coalition are the BUAU (anti animal experimentation), Compassion in World Farming, IFAW (the International Fund for Animal Welfare), The League Against Cruel Sports and Respect for Animals. The Group hopes by bringing the Animal Protection Movement together and working with elected officials, they can achieve positive change for animals in the political arena.
Michael said, “I have supported their individual campaigns over the years. This committed group of Animal Welfare Organisations have over time highlighted the plight of domestic pets, farm animals and wildlife through their various campaigns. I wholeheartedly support their cause and hope this newly formed coalition will be able to achieve a world where animal cruelty and wildlife abuses will be treated more seriously and Government will act on their expertise in all aspects of animal welfare".
