Michael Connarty MP welcomes the go-ahead for the Fujifilm £25 million Expansion in Grangemouth

Michael said “Falkirk Council is to be congratulated for giving the necessary approvals for the chemical storage required to allow the production of print colours that are usually produced in the USA.

Michael added “Fujifilm at Grangemouth will now move ahead of its competitors by making this new generation of products for worldwide distribution. It underlines Grangemouth's importance for jobs and innovation in the chemical industry.”

Steve Lockhart from Fujifilm confirmed that the first production from the unit is planned for January 2009.
