Labour Member of UK Parliament - Linlithgow and East Falkirk Constituency
With respect for the fallen in recent and past conflicts and in line with tradition, Michael Connarty MP joined yet another local town, Grangemouth in his Linlithgow and East Falkirk Constituency to take part in the Remembrance Service held on the 08th of Nov 2009.
Michael has in past years also joined the Services in Linlithgow and in Bathgate at their Services of Remembrance.
After the service at Abbotsgrange Church Michael Connarty paraded with the local service men and women and serving service members to the war memorial where Michael accepted the invitation from Grangemouth British Legion to proclaim the Tribute to the Fallen and lay a wreath as the local MP on behalf of the UK Parliament.
: Tribute to the Fallen
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn;
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
