Michael Connarty MP is calling on organisations throughout his constituency concerned with mental health to bid for added funding through the "See Me - Let's Stop The Stigma Of Mental Ill Health" campaign.
Five mental health organisations are working together on the grant scheme and a new equalities fund with a budget of £85,000. The first sum of £4000 will be available in the form of grants which will be awarded to groups within the Linlithgow and East Falkirk Constituency who aim to promote positive messages of mental health.A second pool of funding from the equalities fund will award up to £6000 to tackle the mental health and stigma issues faced by equalities groups - whilst celebrating diversity and promoting equality for all.
