Labour leadership Candidates Ed Miliband and Ed Balls campaign in neighbouring constituences.

Two of the candidates hoping to become the next leader of the Labour Party visited neighbouring constituences to Linlithgow and East Falkirk.Michael Connarty attended both of these well attended events and was delighted both candidates took the time to visit with Party members and express their vision for the future of the Labour Party.

Ed Balls MP met members of the local party during his visit to the Camelon Labour Club in Falkirk also in attendance was Falkirk West MP Eric Joyce and elected representatives from Falkirk Council. Ed spoke at lenghth about his view of the future direction his leadership would take the party,followed by a question and answer session with those in attendance.

Ed Miliband MP visited Knightsridge Community Centre in the Livingston Constituency. He addressed a packed hall paying tribute firstly to the work and personal qualities of the late Livigston MP Robin Cook and wished the new Livingston MP Graeme Morrice well.He then went on to give a talk on what he felt his leadership would bring to the party and then took many intresting questions from those assembled.
